Rev. Jeanette Clark McCormick is originally from Minnetonka, MN and attended Hopkins High School. She attended Augsburg College, graduating in 2007 with a BA in Youth and Family Ministry/Urban Studies and a minor in Spanish. She has worked at Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp, the Lutheran Volunteer Corp in Southern Minneapolis, and La Conexion (a Latino community center). She attended Luther Seminary, graduating in 2012 with an emphasis in Congregational Mission and Leadership. Her first call was with a young adult program called Marty's Mug, and was a mission developer for a Latino congregation called Pueblo de Dios. In 2015, she married Rev. Cole McCormick. She has enjoyed getting to know people in the community through Love Inc. She is also involved with the school's feeding program, PEO, Shetek Lutheran Ministries, Manos Unidos, Worthington Area Immigration Advocates and the Guadalupe Free Clinic.
Jon Wendt has been serving as Youth and Family Minister at First Evangelical Lutheran Church since 2013. He obtained a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Southwest State University in Marshall, MN. He began working as a full-time Youth Director in Houston, Texas, and has earned his Youth and Family certification from Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, IA. Jon is currently enrolled in the Masters of Divinity program at Wartburg Theological Seminary, and serves as Vicar at Grace Lutheran Church in Round Lake. He is married to Barbara, a science teacher at Worthington High School, and has a son born in 2013. In his free time, Jon enjoys playing his trumpet and sporting events of all kinds.
Pastor Tim Truesdell is the pastor of American Reformed Church. He is married to Molly Truesdell and they have four children in the Worthington School District: Micah, Anna, Joshua, and Noah. In addition to serving his church and Love INC, Pastor Tim enjoys coaching YMCA soccer and spending time with his family.
